Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is nestled in a lovely, quiet valley offering a retreat from everything. The rooms are in good condition with all the facilities any traveler would need, though the bed is not much larger than a single, and the bathroom is on the small side. The service provided, while friendly, had one receptionist running off midway through our check-in as her taxi was outside. The location is in a very nice area, ideal for those who enjoy a mini-hike or appreciate a new conservatory setting. The dining experience featured hot food around 8 am and smoked meats, but the atmosphere in the cold restaurant was a downside. Overall, a quiet and scenic escape with some room for improvement in service and dining options.
I had a great time at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering a beautiful view over the park. The service was friendly and attentive, although one receptionist had to leave midway through our check-in. The location was in a lovely quiet valley, perfect for a retreat, with easy access to the Barracuda restaurant in town. The dining experience, although not included in the rate, was decent with hot food available around 8 am. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and convenient, making my stay enjoyable.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with its stunning views over the Chiltern hills. The room had a nice view over the park and offered all the facilities any traveler would need. However, the decor seemed very tired with white paint spatter on the TV and desk.
